Senior Adults

Our senior adult fellowship has ministered to seniors in our community since 1993.  Our purpose is to provide senior adults in the Jacksonville area with the tools they need for spiritual growth and renewal and to give them opportunities for fellowship and service.

 

On the first Thursday of each month, we provide a program of ministry which includes fellowship, inspiration and information designed to meet the needs of seniors.  We begin with dinner in the fellowship hall at 6:00pm. Programs vary from month to month with specially invited speakers on topics of interest to seniors as well as devotional time. Our attendance at the monthly dinner often draws in excess of 100. Any senior adult is welcome to attend. Contact the church office or our Minister to Senior Adults for additional information.
 

Our senior adults also enjoy spending time with each other at all of our events.  Trips and other fun activities specifically for seniors are regularly planned.  Check our events page for more information.
